How To Register a Non Muslim Court Marriage?

In order to register the non muslim court marriage, please follow the following steps:

Step1: Visit The Local Union Council

The first step towards your non muslim court marriage registration will require you to pay a visit to your local union council. You will ask them about the christian court marriage procedure and requirements for the registration of a non muslim court marriage. The officials there will guide you about the whole thing, and then you have to follow it.

Step 2: Collect The Documents

Even if you are going for a non muslim marriage advisor, you will have to submit a few documents. Unlike traditional Islamic court marriage, you will not submit your Nikah nama and will rather just provide the identification documents. The documents that you may need to provide at the union council for your court marriage registration include the National Identity Cards (NICs) of both parties, Proof of residence, Passport-sized photographs or any other documents specified by the local authorities.

Step 3: Submit The Form

After collecting the documents, you will receive a nadra marriage registration form from the union council that you will have to submit after filling out. Step 4: Attend The Registration Ceremony With Witnesses

After submitting the form you will be called for the marriage registration ceremony and will be asked to provide two witnesses. The officials will review your form along with the documents in the presence of the witnesses and will register your court marriage; after some days, you will be able to obtain your nadra marriage certificate.
